Ian Andersen is a student cartoonist from Houston
(his stuff is pretty frickin good)

check out his sketchblog: http://weflewairplanes.blogspot.com

Drawn by me in 2007, colored by Ben Anders very recently. His colors are pretty groovy, but man, I'm just not sure about my old linework.
Ahou! I love the character cameos. I'm too lazy to write who dresses up as who so... maybe the next(probably more dilligent) commenter will do it :)
I am so thoroughly ashamed of myself now.
Great work as always, Ricky!
Really funny, by the way.
I just love it
ode to an angry mob eh? :D
Now,I LOVE the dumm costumes, but is the aunt dressed as Kermit? She propably didn't get the message it was a DUMM halloween-party!
I liked to bite gummi bears in half, lick their severed sides, and stick their halved body pieces to my face... not quite the same as a Starburst gag, I know, but I wasn't a big fan of Starburst and so I have no stories about them.
By the way, who's in the Dr. Scoops costume?
poor old man looked like a good fella ):
10. Twentay, ha, even the angry mob made a cameo didn't they?
13. Shambles... are you feeling okay?
14. Tillie, your halved-gummy bear "pinhead" visual has me laughing out loud. I'm going to put that in a movie.
15. Rust, the whole idea behind this strip is that I keep reading that "razors in the candy" have always been an urban legend, encouraged by little shits like Zimbo. What happened in your town?
16. Coming soon: The Dumm adventures of French Maid!
20. "FRS"...GOOD EYE Joel
the guy in the Dr. Scoops Getup is just some random guy. Actually he showed up with the French Maid.
21. Ghosty, strange things happen around the witching hour. Tune in often, you never know what you might miss!
22. Suck it, Yergabick
And yes, Yergabick MUST go down!...
By the way, I barely noticed the fact the apples were also on fire... HILARIOUS!!! At first, all I noticed were the Molotov cocktails, the burning old apple-man, and the ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS image of poor Zimbo and Bimbeaux crying over the fruits of their actions (or rather ZIMBO'S actions). Lately, "Nightmare Theatre" has been getting better and better week by week!! :D Can't wait for next Thursday!!! :D
Your sense of coloring is also ASTOUNDINGLY AMAZING!! If I had to do a comic or artwork in black-&-white, I would NEVER be able to figure out which shade of gray to color ANYTHING!
But kidnapping, cannibalism, slavery - that's a whole nudder po'erful bunch o' stuff, so be care out' dere', b'okay?
Also, were you credited for storyboard on today's Making Fiends? Congratulations! As soon as I saw that name, I KNEW that I'd read it somewhere else recently.
cheers to you and your work

But leave it to ol Kimbo to start a riot.
The old guy was probably stealin Kimbo's woman anyway
