Ian Andersen is a student cartoonist from Houston
(his stuff is pretty frickin good)

Drawn by me in 2007, colored by Ben Anders very recently. His colors are pretty groovy, but man, I'm just not sure about my old linework.
I like the feeling of intense anticipation in the second to last panel if you give it a good long pause before reading the last one. That look of glee and poised finger... ever-hovering over that crucial button, and then... BAM!
Anyway, last week I commented about having wary feeling concerning the birth of a rival for BPM. I'm going to hold my final opinion for the time, but I would like to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this week's strip.
Again, as previously stated, BPM's strongest suit remains the funny visuals and you did a great job with those. He looks positively hilarious when he's annoyed. I was also happy to see that SHD's presence did nothing to detract from the light humorous mood that I so enjoy abouth BPM.
I'm reserving my final opinion until I'm more familiar with the character, but I feel much better about the inclusion of our tiny hatted antagonist tha I did last week.
Small Hat Dog has been with Big Pants for as long I can remember. If Big Pants was just left to his own devises, he would be completely content and go through life with everything he needs, that's good a while, but life sure isn't like that. Everyone, everywhere has a Small Hats.
Remember, BPM has the power of the magic pants, he can seek revenge on this little pup at anytime. The question just remains, how much can that little dog push the mouse before that happens.
I hope you warm up to Small Hats, he's a little mongrel who is essential to Big Pants' and our world too!
Great strip, Gabe....as usual!!!!!
